This summer the Oysterponds Historical Society is pleased to present Kid's Stuff for children ages 7 - 12. The schedule is as follows:
June 28 - Look At Me! Portraits of Webb House - Children are invited to learn like the masters and explore the portrait paintings of Webb House, drwk their own portrait and compare the difference between historical portraits and photographs of today. Children may bring their own photos of themselves, family or friends
July 26 - Colonial Fun & Games - Participants will explore the toys and games exhibited in this summer's Fun & Games exhibition, and participate in some colonial games at the Old Point School House.
August 23 - Dolls of the Past - Children will explore the collection of dolls in the Fun & Games exhibition and make their own doll to take home
Children are encouraged to bring their pennies as the Red Bard will be open and penny candy will be available for purchase from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm.
