Print This PageIntrospections- Artist Self Portrait Exhibitions
The Smithtown Arts Council presents Introspections, a juried self-portrait exhibition focused on the image of the artists themselves. The exhibit will be on view at the Mills Pond House Gallery in St. James. The public is invited to an opening reception to be held Saturday, August 16 from 2 - 4 pm to meet exhibiting artists and view their work.
Introspections will feature work that explores varius modes of representing the self, including a wide variety of artistic media, techniques and styles. Work will be chosen by juror Amy Mackie, assistant curator at the famous New Museum of Contemporary Art in New York City.
