This installation of outstanding art spans the breadth of the Museum's Permanent Collection of paintings. Old Master works will include Lucas Cranach's Virgin, Child, St. John the Baptist and Angels, 1534, the oldest work in the collection; 17th century paintings from Holland's Golden Age, such a Melchior d'Hondecoeter's magnificent Stripped of Borrowed Feathers: The Raven-Jackdaw; Francois Girardon's baroque sculpture The Rape of Proserpine, 1693; and much more.
