US NAVY BLUE ANGELS TO THRILL VISITORS TO JONES BEACH AIR 
SHOW
HAUPPAUGE, NY-(April 17, 2006)- A precision flight demonstration by the U.S. Navy Blue Angels and other modern and antique planes will kick off the summer season on Long Island, NY at the Bethpage Federal Credit Union Air Show at Jones Beach.
The event is expected to draw over 300,000 visitors May 27 and 28, thrilling spectators with a show flying above the sparkling blue Atlantic Ocean and the white, sandy shore of Jones Beach.

State Parks Commissioner Bernadette Castro stated, "The Bethpage Federal Credit Union Air Show on Memorial Day weekend is a patriotic event and a wonderful program to kick off the summer season. Last years event was one of the most well attended that we have seen. We are so grateful to Bethpage Federal Credit Union for again taking the title sponsorship role. They are a great friend to State Parks and Long Islanders.”

Bethpage was Grumman’s credit union and it’s a natural showcase of aircraft and aerial performance,” stated Bethpage Federal Credit Union President and CEO, Kirk Kordeleski.
Last year’s air show was a success with 127,000 visitors on Saturday and a record setting 214,000 visitors on Sunday. The two day event had attendance of 341,000 park visitors at Jones Beach State Park during the Memorial Day weekend.
