MEETING PLANNERS INVITED TO “DISCOVER THE SECRETS OF LONG ISLAND”
Long Island CVB Event Planned At Washington DC’s International Spy Museum
HAUPPAUGE, NY-(September 8, 2006)- The Long Island Convention & Visitors Bureau and Sports Commission (LICVB&SC) is presenting a “Discover the Secrets of Long Island” event for Washington DC-area meeting planners on September 28 at the International Spy Museum.
Corporate and event planners from the Washington DC area are invited to attend this informative and complementary session highlighting Long Island as a destination for meetings, conventions and events.
Known for its sparkling white sand beaches, quaint port towns, world-renown golf courses, scenic vineyards and historic attractions, Long Island is home to one-of-a-kind facilities and corporate meeting sites. These range from stunning Gold Coast mansions and wineries to an aviation museum or aquarium, in addition to major hotels and convention venues.
The event, from 11:30am-2pm, will include a luncheon, Long Island wine tasting, scavenger hunt and great prizes.
