Be very afraid at the Bayville Scream Park. Also known as Bayville Adventure Park, this “Scream Park” has four haunted buildings, each with its own haunted tale, among other attractions. For example, Bloodworth Manor is said to have been built in 1870 by Balthazar Bloodworth Bay. Balthazar’s son, Dr. Bascombe Bay is said to have created Frankenstein like experiments in his laboratory. Some time later, his children took over the “family business” and raised ghouls and zombies alike. The other houses include Uncle Needle’s Funhouse of Fear in 3-D; the Temple of Terror; and Curse of the Zombie Pirates. Normal hours are Friday’s and Saturdays 6pm to midnight and Sundays and weekdays from 6pm to 10pm. Kids “not so scary” days are from 11am to 5pm on Saturday and Sundays. The adventure park attractions and mini-golf area are open everyday. More information can be found in www.bayvillescreampark.com.
